The eFieldNotes application serves as a practical tool for law enforcement officers to document cases and service calls efficiently in the field. Its design facilitates quick note-taking with one hand, addressing the common challenge of operating in low-light conditions without reliance on a flashlight.

The app enables users to maintain a comprehensive list of incidents, with incident notes stored directly on the device for easy future access. Users can navigate through their incident list or select specific entries to review and update detailed information as needed.

Incident data is organized into collapsible sections, allowing for efficient categorization of information. By tapping on category headers, officers can expand or collapse content, simplifying the process of adding, modifying, or removing data entries.

The integrated photo feature allows users to capture images directly within the app, storing up to 15 MB of incident-related pictures separately from personal photographs on the device. Thumbnails of captured images can be scrolled through easily, with the option to view any photo in full screen and add relevant notes.

Sharing functionality is provided through an email option, which attaches complete incident details and associated images in a single email. The app also supports copying and pasting notes for streamlined report writing or sharing recorded information with reporting officers.
